This geocache is situated on the 13 km (circle route) “Holhoek” hiking trail. The cache is located behind the second waterfall. The cliff face interfered with my GPS, so the coordinates will not be spot-on; some searching will be required. The cache contains only a log sheet bring your own pen. The owner is aware of the cache, but does not know the exact location.
Although you don’t need to be an overly experienced hiker, it would be advised to do this in a group. In my opinion it is not suitable for children under the age of 10 years due to the amount of ladders to climb, and bridges to cross. Remember to take along enough water.
At the small town Paul Roux on the N5, take the S224 (Holhoek road). Keep following this gravel road till you come to a big white gate, with the owners name on it (Gert). Through the gate, follow the road till you get to the buildings. The hiking trail starts there. Feel free to ask the workers on site, if you are not sure where the trail starts.
