Route 28, between Blue Mountain and Indian Lake.
This is a 30 caliber ammo box with a train whistle, compass, deck of cards and a couple of Indian Lake refrig magnets, and of course the proverbial logbook to sign. The Sawyer mountain is one of the easier ones to climb and affords a view of the high peaks of to the Northeastly direction. A little further up the trail gives one a view of Wakely golf course and mountains to the West including Blue Mountain, at Blue Mountain Lake is the Adirondack Museum which is really worth a visit( all about the Adirondacks, also, seasonally open from Memorial weekend through October 15th, or so ).
