How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A quick (or not) park-by cache in one of those terrible 'hate to be here' locations but should be obvious to most cachers. Play with your phone, do your shoe laces up, look for an imaginary thing in your bag, untangle your dog's lead, you know the drill. GPS will most likley A:Go nuts or B:put you on other side of street.

As Australians some of us cringe when we hear the term Cache spoken 'cash', In my circles we use the pronunciation 'Kaysh' as in 'kayshing'. Sadly the correct pronunciation is infact 'cash' , however if I was to go 'cashing' I would need to go across the road to the establishment close by. In my brief research I found a description for the term cache that reads: Cache :a group of things that have been hidden in a secret place because they are illegal or have been stolen, but because we are 'Kayshers' that doesn't apply to us ! :) So... don't 'cash' your 'cache'.
