Geocache Description:

This is the Second "Love Hollow" Cache, as with the first this is being placed because my girlfriend and I enjoy getting out and exploring the local area around us. This has been a stopping place for us throughout the years and we hope everyone else enjoys it too.  This is located outside an operating business. There are a few Missouri Conservation Areas around, and some other nice Caches around.*** Permission was received to place this cache at this location ***

~~There is a lot of history under the cliff...  In the mid 1800's, a Mr Tipton owned this land where the river was low enough for people traveling between Joplin and Neosho to make the crossing; the town which grew here was named Tipton Ford.  In 1928, Ab McConnell opened a general store on this site named Under Cliff, which is where our name originated.  The store operated until 1961 when Frank & Bonnie's, known for delicious fried chicken (no longer served), opened.  In 1980, a fire destroyed the restaurant and the land remained vacant until Undercliff Grill & Bar was established in February 1995. *** Permission was received to place this cache at this location ***
