Cache is near the start of the Harty's Quay to Blackrock Castle walk, this is a 3 km Tarmaced, mostly flat path running along side the estuary. You can continue this walk to make a loop along the marina and beside the Atlantic Pond, back to where you started walking along the old railway track. This is a popular route for walkers, runners, dogs, skateboarders, buggies, cyclists etc. The loop is 5.83 miles long, and there is only a short part on the road by the Castle. Lovely views across the water with plenty of bird life there, there are boards along the way showing the types of birds you may see
