Welcome to Spartanburg, otherwise known as the "Hub-City!"
These caches are DAYLIGHT ONLY!
This cache takes you to the beginning of one of Spartanburg's oldest parks. The first location that you will walk to takes you to the memorial marker for a famous tree that once stood here. This tree once overlooked Veterans Park, which is also the gateway to Duncan Park, on of the countries oldest active baseball parks.
From this marker, you will need to project a waypoint 159 ft. away at a bearing of 283 degrees, where you will find yet another interesting tree. You will find the cache placed at the joint union of a hardwood tree and a softwood tree.
