Geocache Description:

A quick walk through Veterans Park to view the passing trains and obtain a rare small size cache in the city.

!DO NOT ENTER THE RAILROAD AREA!

The cache is within park grounds and safely away from the tracks.

 

I wanted to bring fellow cachers to this once beautiful park where my family watched me play baseball, soccer, and hockey years ago. We used to waive at passing trains and would often get waives back! Also, there is a critical lack of caches larger than micro around here, so we thought we'd place one. Hopefully this is more successful than our previous attempts. 

Remember, you are in the city and crime can be high. Be aware of your surroundings and DO NOT attempt at night.
