This cache is located in Heritage Park in Whitmire. The entrance to the park is on Park street at the Whitmire community center. you may also park at the end of Gilliam street, but do not try to access this cache from Railroad avenue as this road is narrow and there is no room to safely pull off the side.
This cache is a bison tube hidden in the usual manner and should not be a hard find. Please take some time to enjoy the park while you are here. There are picnic tables that are covered by a shelter and there are others that are out in the open. There is a very nice playground area for your small geocachers to enjoy as well.
Heritage Park is a nice park that was built on the site of the old Park street school that was in use from the early 1900's until 1994 and torn down during the mid 1990's. Information is a little hard to come by for the school now, but if I can get more I will update the info here.
Muggles should not be a big problem in this part of the park unless there is some sort of concert going on at the Strand Amphitheater, and in that case you will need to use a lot of stealth so as not to compromise the hide site.
