In the UK, the nominated time is 6.00pm - 6.15 pm on Sat 7th June.
The theme for our event is "Courts" - judges, barristers, baddies, tennis players, shoes anything you can come up with.
As the event is so short, you must be present and add your caching name to the bucket DURING the 15 minute period to claim the event.
Please bring appropriate props and If you'd like to come appropriately dressed that would be wonderful.
I strongly suggest you put this page on your "watchlist" to catch any last minute changes.
Timetable for the Event is:
The event will begin precisely at 6:00pm on Saturday, June 7th. A whistle will blow to signal the start of the event.
Before this, act muggle. There's nothing to see here and keep your props hidden
18:00 - Quickly make your way to the above co-ordinates and get your props out/gear on.
18:00 - 18:15 - Log the event by placing a card with your caching name on it in the marked receptacle (optional)
18:05 - Event "meal"
18:10 - Group photo
18:12 - Draw for FTF
18:15 - The receptacle will disappear and the event will close, leaving no trace...
The FTF winner will also receive a WWFM XI geocoin.
Parking is available on-street on three sides of the park (one hour before 6p.m., unlimited after) and there is further parking on the adjacent side streets, just watch the complex one-way systems. There is also a Pay&Display car park at the station (£3.70 all day weekend rate), and another cheaper one not far away by Tuckers Maltings/Osborne Road (60p for 30 mins, £1 for an hour, free afer 6p.m.)
Public transport: Newton Abbot railway station is right across the road and there are multiple bus stops nearby.
