Geocache Description:

Small address barrel size cache located next to a public foot path.

Garmin eTrex Legend HTx used for coordinates

Small aluminium container with screw top containing log book only, you'll need your own pencil/pen. There are some beautiful views along here, across the marsh and wetland towards Blackpool, the  tower can be seen on a clear day.  You can also see the BAE site at Warton where the Euro Fighter flies from, as do the Red Arrows when oooop North for air shows.

This is a great route for walking and mountain biking, there is a circular route from Banks taking you along the sea wall from Crossens pumping station coming out at the North end of Marsh road and back along the main road.  Caution is advised when going back along the road when walking as there is no footpath for the first mile or so, there is however a decent verge to walk on.  Allow 3+ hours for the round trip.

The whole of the sea wall is a public footpath/bridal way and so a public right of way. It is not necessary to trespass to get this cache and it is accessible from both directions.
