Este sendero muy amigable para caminar lleva a la cumbre del rucu Pichincha por pajonales arenales y rocas, el punto de partida es la estación del teleférico (costo adicional), que está a 3976 m, una caminata entre 2:30 y 3:30 Horas te llevará a 4696m, es accesible durante todo el año, y sentirás tocar el cielo.
A la mitad del camino sin tomar atajos encontraras un lugar amplio para un descanso, un poco separado del sendero fácilmente escucharas un sonido poco común pero fácil de identificar, te darás cuenta lo cerca que estas del cache.
Si tienes suerte y caminas en silencio además podrás observar algunas aves y roedores que viven libres en los andes.
