Geocache Description:

Eclipse container located near a Petanque pitch.

Petanque is a form of boules where the goal is to throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally "piglet") or jack, while standing inside a starting circle with both feet on the ground. The game is normally played on hard dirt or gravel, but can also be played on grass, sand or other surfaces. Upper Hutt has its very own Petanque location at the popular Maidstone Max park.

Sitting on the seat at the co-ordinates you will be 40m from the Petanque noticeboard and 'pitch'.

Please submit a Maintenance Log if the log sheet or cache requires maintenance.
We cache owners don't always get a chance to read every log and may miss your logs
that notify that "log is almost full" or "log is wet".
A maintenance log will be notified to us separately as we log on to the site
and we can therefore pay attention to our needy caches more quickly making your experience better.

Thank you and Happy Caching :)
