Tug of War is from Carly Rae's first album, also named Tug of War. Written by Carly Rae and produced by Ryan Stewart, the song was the second single released from the album. On music charts it peaked at 98 in Japan and 36 in Canada.
The song was nominated by the CRMA for Song of the Year in 2010. Interestingly they censor the word "screwing" from the song in the music video. I believe that says something about the emotion of the song.
