Despite driving past this area literally thousands of times, it took the desire to hide a cache to make me drive around and have a look.
What a remarkable spot - open space, playground, benches, and an extensive section of trees and shrubs which look like they receive loving attention from the locals.
Despite the calming effect of the surrounds, though, I couldn't help imagining what this place must have looked like during the last big floods - it was definitely all water right here. At the GZ, watch out for the slope down to the drains nearby - great for water runoff, not so good for little cachers.
The log is inside a micro inside a larger object. Please replace it all the way inside, until it clicks, and don't forget to leave some string for the next visitor to grab. Re-cover it well and enjoy your visit!
