7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

We were passing through Oaklands on our second day of caching on the Yorke Peninsular.

Being halfway between Yorketown and Stansbury, there’s not much here.

Technically not a town, one can surmise from the machinery and flat land here, it is farmland country.

The memorial and the assortment of machinery caught our attention.

As a matter of interest, most of the Algie family listed on the memorial are buried at the Stansbury Cemetery.

Keith Edward Algie Born 1788 & Died in 1922 buried with his wife Doris Elsie Algie
Brian Kenneth Thompson (Tubby) died in 2006 aged 43
Marie Helen Bevan (nee Thompson) also died in 2006

Camouflaged container, please leave where found.

Congratulations to Bailey3AC for FTF

Enjoy the country side and be mindful of children or pets as parking is just of the main road.
