Dzisiaj po hangrze zostały resztki murów.
O miejscu:
Pozostałość po koszarowym kompleksie lotniczym, wybudowanym w latach 1912/14.
W czasie I wojny światowej mieścił się tu oddział szkolący pilotów pruskiego lotnictwa. Po jej zakończeniu istniała tu szkoła „Orląt”. Po jej przeniesieniu do Dęblina powstała Lotnicza Szkoła Strzelania i Bombardowania.
Przed samą kampanią wrześniową funkcjonowała Wyższa Szkoła Pilotażu. Czyli każdy polski pilot musiał „zaliczyć” Grudziądz.

About the place:
The hangar is the remains of a barrack complex for the aviation purpose. It was built in 1912-1914 years. During the 1st World War there was a unit training pilots of Prussian military aviation. After the war there was ‘The Eagles’ School. After moving the school to Dęblin there was established Aviation Shooting and Bombing School. Just before the September Campaign there was the Higher Flying School so every Polish pilot had to be trained in Grudziądz.

Über die Örtlichkeit:
Überbleibsel von einem Flugfahrtkomplex das in den Jahren 1912-1914 erbaut wurde. Im ersten Weltkrieg diente es als Pilotenschule der preussischen Luftfahrt. Nach Kriegsende existierte hier die Schule unter dem Namen "Adlerjungen" (Szkola Orlat). Nach Versetzung der Schule nach Deblin, wurde hier die Pilotenschule mit Bildungsschwerpunkt Jäger und Bomberpiloten gegründet. Kurz vor der September-Kampagne wurde hier die Piloten und Lotsen Hochschule gegründet. Damit ging für jeden polnischen Piloten kein Weg an der Graudenzer Pilotenschule vorbei.
