Geocache Description:

This is a tip of the hat to drives and his “FP Series” of caches.

Scott Weiland is an American musician, lyricist and vocalist. Weiland is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Stone Temple Pilots, as well as the front man for the super group Velvet Revolver. He has also launched a solo career releasing three studio albums, a cover album, and collaborations with several other musicians.

Weiland is known for being flamboyant and chaotic on stage and has been known to change both his appearance and vocal style. He has also used a megaphone in concert for vocal effect.

This cache is located in the Wieland Cemetery. It is well kept and there are older headstones located here. The container you are looking for has had a fun journey. It was the original container at GC1KYYT “FP Series #290- Handsome Lake”.  After several DNF’s the CO replaced the container, but a few weeks later I was showing globewalker84 this lovely hide, and there was the original smashed in the ground! I contacted drives about the container and he asked if I could find it another home. The container is a scuba tank style bison tube that now has its own unique color thanks to the elements and being buried.  Congrats to the FTF triple team of klce, drives, and TeamOxford!
