This is a series of 15 caches over 3.25 miles that will take you up through Beautiful Bourton Combe [BBC] and back through the fields infront of Barrow Court. Good footwear is recommended . Sorry but not suitable for wheel chairs.Good clues given as the GPS was not happy under the trees. All caches placed to be found easily.
Beautiful Bourton Combe [BBC] is a limestone gorge with grey precipices on either side , and indigenous yew and elder trees growing out of the stones.Later on the walk you pass Barrow Court which stared life in 1212 as a nunnery , but after the dissolution of the monasteries in 1536 the building was granted to John drew of Bristol who converted it to a mansion .In world war two it was used as a hospital and today it has been made into private apartments. Congratulations to Nickanddonna for being the first to find.
