Geocache Description:

Shortly after the CO archived this unexpectedly, I contacted the CO about adopting the cache and getting it unarchived. I replaced the cache and contacted the reviewer and its been almost a week and no response. That is why I am creating a new listing.

New York City isn't all urban jungle; some of it is downright scenic. Welcome to the little Oasis in Morris Park known as Charles M. Lee Triangle.

Nestled just off Pelham Parkway near the Morris Park subway station is a little triangle of beautiful greenery and old trees named after Charles M. Lee. This should be a relatively quick find for people who have done this before.

Here's the rub; it isn't an easy grab because people tend to be... Well... Nosey...

 1. You do NOT need to trample the greenery to find this one. You're looking for a capped test tube camo'ed in black tape. It's about 4 inches long and has a special mechanism for grabbing the log; please be careful with it so others can get the cache out. You may want to bring needle nose pliers or tweezers just in case the last guy wasn't careful enough or if things settled oddly.

 2. GPS reading is pointless. I couldn't get a reliable signal with my GPS at all because of the tree cover, so you may end up having to work it out, but if you survey the area, it should be really obvious where it is... You just have to figure out how to make the grab!

 3. There's a dollar in there for the FTF. Maybe you can put it toward your subway ride home?

 4. Don't double park or park illegally; the cops in this neighborhood rarely ticket, they tow.

 5. It's a bit up there, so you may have to be a bit on the tall side to reach it comfortably.

Bring your own writing implement and good luck!
