Traditional cache camouflaged with log and pencil.
I am not sure how often they have people taking tea, but it is available at the house nearby. When I placed the cache it was definitely not the time to sit outside! The cache is hidden down low near the waymarker and should be an easy find. The cache is accessible at all times and available to walkers and riders. The path is part of the old field path system which extended out from Hitchin, as an extension to Grays Lane (itself a field path on the edge of the inner field). The route is part of a pleasant walk which takes you to Oughton Head spring with a return along the river and across the Common (or the other way round). The name of the cache - there were two goldfinches singing close by when the cache was placed.
