*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Greetings RebelPenguin,

Looks like our timing is off, and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't seen any maintenance here in a while, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed, and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.
CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

Biking / Hiking on a Levee:

This short series of caches are on the Boschert Greenway section of paved trail that runs about a mile and a half on a levee between Boschertown Road and New Town Blvd.  These are definitely Bike or Hike caches.  Some are easy and some are a wee bit trickier.

Nice level trail, a couple benches to rest on.  Trees are trying to grow, but kinda small yet, so bring sun screen!  Lots of bird watching and the occasional train in the distance.

NOTE NOTE NOTE:  There is NO PARKING available at the NW end of this series of caches.  There is a public access PARKING LOT near the SE end of the series, in Fox Hill Park – closest to the first cache in the series.  This parking lot is across Boschertown Road and a very short distance up the hill – then start biking/walking.

Once you park and cross Boschertown Road at the designated trail crossing, this would be a great trail for the family – kids and wheelchairs, too – paved trail in great condition.  However, most of the caches are off the payment and a few may require some bushwacking during the Summer and Fall.

There is no other access point along the levee.
