This cache is outside the Garden. However, one of the featured areas inside is the Sensory Garden. This therapeutic garden features remarkable scents and textures that exercise the imagination. It includes an in-ground compass, a large wood trellis of Port Orford cedar, and a beautiful rain curtain, 20 feet long and eight feet high. The garden creates an environment for the physically challenged to experience and enjoy nature close up.
This cache is one of a series hidden inside the Oregon Garden or on the grounds of the Oregon Garden Resort.
Those caches inside the Garden may only be found during Garden hours, and will require an Admission Fee. There is a discount for Geocachers (see below).
An Oregon Garden Geocaching Passport will be available at the Visitor’s Center when you enter Garden. Use this to record codes for the caches found. Once completed, the Cacher may fill out the survey included on the passport and return to the Visitor Center for a gift item (TBD) and to be entered into a drawing. The drawing will happen once or twice per year (dates & prizes TBD).
A $1 discount from the admission fee will be available for all geocaching.com users. A coupon is available (uploaded image on this cache page). This coupon should be presented at the admission desk (Visitor Center) when paying admission.
There is no cost to find the caches beyond Garden admission – Garden members and Resort guests are free and may request the passport at the Visitor Center.
