From here, you can see the administration building for the high school and some classroom windows in the distance. This is a premium high school that my wife attended. She made top score to attend this and commuted daily from Hang Dong.
As the story goes, she was about 9 years old playing in front of her house in Hang Dong when some girls her age were walking by in school uniforms. She asked where they were headed and they told here to school. Later, some officials came by and helped the family get her into school. She only had one uniform and had to wash and press it daily. She studied at the one window in the house that had light coming in from a nearby streetlight as they had no electricity in their house.
