The cache site gives most dramatic views of a the Organ Pipes themselves, especially to the sheer buttress and gully directly up from this location. This cliff is often used by rock climbers and on the day the cache was placed we watched three people attempting an ascent.

The track is also a great area for the Tasmanian endemic Waratah (Telopea truncata) when it flowers usually in December and January at this spot.

It is 2.25 kilometres walk from The Springs via the Pinnacle and Organ Pipes tracks, 1.4k from the Chalet along the Organ Pipes track or 2.4k from The Springs along the Lenah Valley, Sawmill and Organ Pipes tracks.
The container is in a rocky area and very close to the track, there is no need to leave the track
