Dutch: Dit is mijn eerste cache en ik hoop dat hij een beetje goed gemaakt is. En dat de coördinaten kloppen.
Het Zwervershonk, was een cache waar ik al een langere tijd over na gedacht had. En in maart heb ik besloten er eindelijk maar eens mee aan de slag te gaan. Deze week ging ik naar de locatie waar ik hem wilde plaatsen, en tot mijn schrik, op 17 meter afstand van de plek die ik in gedachte had lag ineens een andere cache! Deze was er eerder nog niet. Daarom heb ik een andere locatie moeten kiezen, en zo kwam ik hier terecht.
In 1953 heeft scoutinggroep de Zwervers hier hun honk gehad. Het stond aan de overkant van de weg. Helaas is dit honk in 1992 door pyromanen in brand gestoken en bleef er weinig van over. De zwervers hebben tijdelijk onderdak gehad in een oud hok van het ziekenhuis dat hier vroeger stond. Maar gelukkig was dit niet van lange duur, in 1994 kregen de Zwervers een nieuw honk op een andere locatie. Daar wilde ik mijn cache eigenlijk plaatsen.

't zwervershonk is a cache I have been thinking about for a while and now the time had come to make it. I was finally ready to place it yesterday and then I found out, that someone else already had placed a cache on the spot I had in my mind. Too bad, so I had to come up with another location.
In 1953 the Zwervers Veenendaal got their scout centre here in the woods, it was next to the campsite across the road. In 1992 this scout centre was burned to the ground by arsonists. The Zwervers moved then to an old "barn" which was owned by the hospital that used to be here. Fortunately in 1994 there was enough money to build a new scout centre at a new location, it was there that I wanted to place my cache.
