Geocache Description:

A park 'n' grab on the Twizel River bridge.

This is a popular spot for angling with the nearby sign providing info on the types of fish and limits. A pretty area especially in the Autumn when this was placed with the various colours of leaves on the trees. During March and April many sockeye salmon can be seen from the bridge spawning in the river. NOTE - It is an offence under the Conservation Act to disturb spawning salmon - you can't catch, net or spear the fish, or even walk in the river bed and trample their redds, or nests. Cache is also on a popular cycle track.

Cache is a micro so byo pen.

Cache MUST be retrieved from the footbridge.
