Cache is located at Waiaua Gorge Hut on the Southwest slopes of Mt Taranaki.
Waiaua Gorge Hut sleeps 16 people and is part of the Egmont National Park's challenging 54km Around the Mountain Circuit
The best access and quickest access to the cache is from the Ihaia Roadend.
The Ihaia Track is not very steep but is very muddy with a few stream crossings.
The Ihaia Track takes a good 2hrs for most people
