Jedna z cyklu skrzynek po Jeleniogórskim Helikonie

Cykl skrzynek „Jeleniogórski Helikon” powstał w ramach trasy I zawodów geocachingowych przeprowadzonych w ramach XVII Ogólnopolskich Marszów na Orientację „Puchar Wagarowicza” w dniach 29-30 marca 2014 r. Uczestnicy zawodów są już wpisani do logbooka, więc pozostaje im tylko zalogowanie znalezienia skrzynki. Mottem przewodnim całego cyklu skrzynek jest chęć pokazania dawnej perły tego terenu: „Jeleniogórskiego Helikonu”. Założenie to, wykonane w XVIII wieku, było wielką atrakcją turystyczną, krajobrazową i kulturalną Jeleniej Góry. Immanuel Kahm pisał w swoim przewodniku po Helikonie z 1796 r.:
„Nie należy więc szukać tu posągów, świątyń i zdobnych, sztucznych ogrodów. Wszystko jest tu naturą, która jedynie przez nasadzenia lub wyrównania dróg została nie tyle upiększona, ile uczyniona bardziej dostępną. To ukłon w kierunku miłośników nieskażonej przyrody i antycznej poezji. Wszystko, co tu stworzono wygląda jak na starożytnym, greckim Helikonie, albowiem można znaleźć znaczne podobieństwa między oboma Helikonami. Przy dokładnym, bezstronnym porównaniu – nasz śląski Helikon wypada pod pewnymi względami lepiej od greckiego pierwowzoru”. Tym bardziej trzeba te miejsca zobaczyć osobiście.
Aby tego dokonać można szukać pojedyńcze skrzynki lub też wybrać się na dłuższy spacer ok. 3 godzin i robiąc pętlę zobaczyć wszystkie miejsca. Polecana trasa pętli to:

Do takiej kolejności dostosowany jest kierunek pokonywania multikeszy. Pierwszy kesz usytuowany jest na parkingu, gdzie można zostawić pojazd i coś zjeść.

Dokładny opis jeleniogórskiego Helikonu znajdujemy w przewodniku „Vom Helikon und den Elisaischen Feldern bei Hirschberg“, napisanego w 1796 r. przez Immanuela Krahma, miejscowego drukarza. Bardzo podobny opis znajdujemy również w kronice miasta Jelenia Góra, napisanej przez Johanna Daniela Hensela, którą opublikował w 1797r. Polskie tłumaczenie tej kroniki ukazało się w 2005 r., a autorem tłumaczenia był Tomasz Pryll. Tłumaczenie to znajdziesz tutaj:

Skrzynka to multikesz. Współrzędne wskazują miejsce startu. Jest to plac piknikowy urządzony w starym kamieniołomie.
Z przewodnika po jeleniogórskim Helikonie wg. Immanuela Kahma (1796 r.):
„Z lewej strony powyżej, w miejscu starego kamieniołomu, widzimy miejsce biwakowe, na którym ustawiono stoły, ławy i miejsca na ogniska. Wszystko to zostało zbudowane przez kilka miejskich rodzin, które poniosły w związku z tym niewielkie koszty. Miejsca to jest ocienione, albowiem południowa część wzgórza jest porośnięta wysokimi świerkami.”
Multikesz składa się 7 etapów. Poszczególne etapy kończą się w miejscach, gdzie najprawdopodobniej niegdyś umiejscowione były obiekty helikonu. Pomiędzy miejscami poruszasz się wg. podanego azymutu i odległości. Dane są wynikiem pomiarów GPS, a nie wg. fizycznego pomiaru w terenie. W związku z tym najlepiej skorzystać z funkcji „Celuj i idź” w odbiorniku GPS.
Etap 1 - „Mater Musarum” azymut 262 stopni i 76 metrów.
Zlokalizowany tu plac Helikonu poświęcony był Mnemosyne – matce muz (Mater Musarum). Tytanida, bogini i uosobienie pamięci. Z bogiem Zeusem miała córki (Erato, Euterpe, Kalliope, Klio, Melpomene, Polihymnię, Talię, Terpsychorę i Uranię), które były muzami olimpijskimi.
Z przewodnika po jeleniogórskim Helikonie wg. Immanuela Kahma (1796 r.):
„…po pewnym czasie docieramy do ukształtowanych w trawach siedzisk, nad którymi na tablicy widnieją inicjały M. M. - oznaczające Mater Musarum - miejsce dla matki muz Mnemosyne”.
Etap 2 – „Dąb Cesarski” azymut 147 stopni i 87 metrów
Piękny okaz dębu posadzony pod koniec XVII wieku. Planuje się otoczyć go opieką konserwatorską i nadania mu rangi pomnika przyrody.
Etap 3 – „Plac Kalioppe” azymut 203 stopni i 129 metrów
Zlokalizowany tu plac Helikonu poświęcony był Kalioppe - muzie poezji epicznej. Uchodziła za córkę boga Zeusa i tytanidy Mnemosyne. Była jedną spośród dziewięciu muz Olimpu, które należały do orszaku boga Apollina – ich przewodnika. Wraz ze swoimi siostrami (pozostałymi muzami) uświetniała śpiewem biesiady bosko-ludzkie, a także uczty samych bogów. Była muzą najwyżej postawioną w hierarchii muz. Przedstawiana jest zwykle jako kobieta z tabliczką i rylcem, a niekiedy z trąbą

„Stąd rozciąga się piękny widok na całe miasto oraz Kunice, Staniszów, a także ponad licznymi wioskami przepięknej kotliny jeleniogórskiej na Karkonosze wraz ze Śnieżką”.
Etap 4 – „Panteon” azymut 215 stopni i 92 metry.
Panteon to świątynia poświęcona wszystkim bogom.
Z przewodnika po jeleniogórskim Helikonie wg. Immanuela Kahma (1796 r.):
„… przebiega trawiasta ścieżka do ogrodzonej Siedziby Muz, czy Panteonu, gdzie na wzniesieniu pomiędzy świerkami stoi stół z 9 siedziskami dla 9 muz, obok zaś pozostawiono wolne miejsce na świątynię. Na małym pagórku znajdują się siedziska dla Gracji, natomiast na zachód założony na samym początku plac amfiteatralny. Z siedziby Muz rozciąga się widok na całe miasto, a ponad nim na półkoliście otoczoną górami Kotlinę Jeleniogórską z jej wsiami, polami uprawnymi i łąkami”.
Etap 5 – „Plac Klio” azymut 353 stopni i 302 metry.
Zlokalizowany tu plac Helikonu poświęcony był Klio – muzie historii Uchodziła za córkę boga Zeusa i tytanidy Mnemosyne. Była jedną spośród dziewięciu muz Olimpu, które należały do orszaku boga Apollina – ich przewodnika. Wraz ze swoimi siostrami (pozostałymi muzami) uświetniała śpiewem biesiady bosko-ludzkie, a także uczty samych bogów. Przedstawiana jest zwykle jako kobieta ze zwojem papirusu.
Z przewodnika po jeleniogórskim Helikonie wg. Immanuela Kahma (1796 r.):
„Każdy, kto zawitał na to wzniesienie musi tędy przejść. Z tego miejsca patrząc w kierunku wschodnim, po lewej stronie znajdujemy wzrokiem w dole płynący Bóbr, a w głębi Sechsstätte (przedmieście Jeleniej Góry - obecnie miejsce gdzie stoi TESCO) i położone dalej wioski. Patrząc na prawo widzimy fragment miasta z wieżą przy ul. Długiej (obecnie wieży ul. Długiej nie ma). Z tego miejsca nie widać centrum miasta, ponieważ jest ukryte za wzgórzem Kreuzberg (Krzyżna Góra)”.
Etap 6 – „Plac Terpsychory” azymut 280stopni i 129 metrów
Zlokalizowany tu plac Helikonu poświęcony był Terpsychorze – muzie tańca i pieśni chóralnej. Uchodziła za córkę boga Zeusa i tytanidy Mnemosyne. Była jedną spośród dziewięciu muz Olimpu, które należały do orszaku boga Apollina – ich przewodnika. Wraz ze swoimi siostrami (pozostałymi muzami) uświetniała śpiewem biesiady bosko-ludzkie, a także uczty samych bogów. Przedstawiana jest zwykle jako kobieta w tanecznej pozie, z lirą i plektronem.
Z przewodnika po jeleniogórskim Helikonie wg. Immanuela Kahma (1796 r.):
„W bliskim sąsiedztwie Euterpe znajduje się siedziba muzy opiekująca się muzyką, a jest nią Terpsychora, dla której między drzewami i krzewami, na polance w 1795r. zbudowano w kształcie koła parkiet do tańca. Wokół parkietu znajdują się trzy trawiaste stopnie z dziewięcioma siedziskami muz, jak i również liczne drewniane ławy, których budowę sfinansowano ze zbiórki pieniędzy, którą przeprowadziły jeleniogórskie mieszczanki – miłośniczki przyrody.
Etap 7 (finał) – „Plac Euterpe” azymut 34 stopnie i 102 metry.
Zlokalizowany tu plac Helikonu poświęcony był Euterpe – muzie poezji lirycznej i gry na flecie. Uchodziła za córkę boga Zeusa i tytanidy Mnemosyne. Była jedną spośród dziewięciu muz Olimpu, które należały do orszaku boga Apollina – ich przewodnika. Wraz ze swoimi siostrami (pozostałymi muzami) uświetniała śpiewem biesiady bosko-ludzkie, a także uczty samych bogów. Przedstawiana jest zwykle jako kobieta z fletem.
Z przewodnika po jeleniogórskim Helikonie wg. Immanuela Kahma (1796 r.):
Euterpe rezyduje w pustym, lecz porośniętym zaroślami zagłębieniu i spogląda na widoczne stąd miasto, na piękną równinę pełną łąk, pól uprawnych i wiosek, pośród których najlepiej widać Jeżów Sudecki, Dziwiszów i Strupice położone nad Bobrem. Daleko na horyzoncie widoczne jest Komarno. Z tego miejsca widok jest cudowny, a wszystko co widzimy wydaje się, że tańczy przed patrzącym. Podobnie, jak w innych miejscach, również i w tym miejscu znajduje się miejsce na odpoczynek.

Cycle caches "Helikon Jelenia Góra" created as part of the route and professions first geocaching cup XVII Nationwide Marches Orienteering ”Cup Truant" on 29-30 March 2014. Participants in the competition are already entered in the logbook, so it remains the only log to find the cache.
