General access information.
There are a myriad of tracks and paths to explore which provide tranquil and diverse areas for walkers, horse riders and cyclists to use.
In addition to this there are four main marked routes in Hollybank Woods.
Right of Way through Hollybank Woods (Bridleway).
There is a bridleway which runs north - south between Hollybank Lane and the Emsworth Common Road and is designated as a right of way for walkers, equestrians, and cyclists to pass through Hollybank Woods from the top of Hollybank Lane to the Emsworth Common Road. This is recorded on the definative map of rights of way in Hampshire.
This is an officially endorsed Havant Borough Council permitted horse route running east for walkers, equestrians and cyclists to pass through Hollybank Woods and access the bridleway in Southleigh Forest on the northern side of the Emsworth Common Road.
This is an officially endorsed Havant Borough Council permitted horse route that runs to the west allowing access to and from the junction with the Horndean and Emsworth Common Road for walkers, equestrians and cyclists. This is a marked walk which takes in the site of the former Hollybank Lodge (now a grass clearing), the central western woodland and Jubilee Plantation. Please note that new marker posts are currently being put in and old posts have mostly been removed. The new posts will be completed by mid November 2013.
Walking your dog responsibly.
If your dog is off the lead you must be able to see where it is and it should return to you on your command. If both points are true you are in control of your dog and you are a responsible owner. If you’re not sure how your dog will behave around other animals (deer, horses and other dogs) please put it on a lead. Know where your dog is at all times.
