WW= Wilberfoss walkies
This is a series between Fangfoss railway station and Wilberfoss on a public footpath this is the 3rd and final in the series.
Fangfoss railway station opened on 4 October 1847 and It closed on 3 January 1959.
The building is now run as a caravan park and part of the old line is now the caravan site’s dog walk also the building itself was given a Grade II listed building status.
The York to Hull line
The York to Hull Line formed the major part of a railway which ran directly between important English cities of York and Hull (goods from hull docks to York). It closed because it was actually losing money when all the "terminal costs" were taken into account.
