Maidencraig Wood Traditional Cache

This cache is located in the ancient woodland part of Den of Maindencraig Local Nature Reserve. Parking is available at the reserve car park just off Skene Road.
Den of Maidencraig is a Local Nature Reserve located is on the western edge of Aberdeen just off the B9119 near Aberdeen Crematorium. The site is located in the valley of the Denburn, one of the larger burns which drain from the surrounding countryside and eventually joins the River Dee in the centre of the City.
After finding the cahce it is worthwhile exploring the area beyond the boardwalk where the Denburn can be seen running through the site.
