WWFM XI (World Wide Flash Mob) is a fun and friendly way to promote geocaching around the world. Thousands of geocachers at dozens of coordinated events spanning the globe, gathering at precisely the exact same time. This is your chance to join and be a part of WWFM XI in the Woodlands and do a geo-walk about, all in the same day!
DATE: JUNE 7TH 2014
PLACE: GEORGE MITCHELL NATURE PRESERVE – SOUTHSIDE PARKING (POSTED COORDS)
TIME 12:00PM – 12:15PM
SCHEDULE:
1. Arrive at the listed coordinates before noon and do a “walk about” aimlessly near the coordinates.
2. At precisely noon, discontinue your “walk about” and quickly go to the Jeep Travel Bug at the listed coordinates; there will be a log book to sign there.
2. 12:00 – 12:10 sign the log book.
3. 12:10 take a group picture.
4. At 12:15 the flash mob event is over; feel free to do a “geo-walk about” in the George Mitchell Nature Preserve and find some caches – there a lot of great great caches hidden there, many of which will be well deserving of a "favorite" point.
