This cache celebrates all the fun the family and I had visiting Natural Tunnel State Park in Virginia. We stopped at this beautiful rest area on the way home to have a picnic lunch. We camped all weekend and hiked the trails in an effort to bag some cool earth caches. Mission accomplished- .
This cache is easy, Just walk to the scenic overlook and check out the beautiful vista, check out the plaque that identifies visible mountain peaks, then bushwhack up the ridge line to GZ. I did not see and PI or Thorns but there is some very old barbed wire at GZ. You are looking for a small lock n lock container with a waterproof logbook, a couple of TBs but no pencil. Bring your own. There is some mild bushwhacking involved so wear appropriate clothing.
