Or if you really want the book but have nothing to leave and don't plan on coming back - KEEP IT! It's our gift. PS: The geocache logbook is not the pink little free library guest book. Some have geocachers have signed that book. Keep looking - the log book is in a clear plastic container with geocache goodies.

I am the steward for the Little Free Library #4400. It's so fun seeing guests come and go. I have always intended to incorporate a geocache into our library to bring more traffic and to add to the experience.

This past new year 2013/14 I was deeply saddened by a tragic story that was in the news about two families who were traveling from Winnipeg into the USA that were in a car wreck that took the lives of 3 year old friends Evelyn & Sophie as well as Sophie's Mom Karla. Evelyn is the cousin to one of my niece's. When I read Evelyn's parents online journal on The Caring Bridge they mentioned Evelyn loved the book The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munch. It was then that I decided I wated to make our library a geocache location as well - in memory of Evelyn & her friend Sophie who are with Karla.
