This was the original valley lift for Blackcomb Mountain. Its bottom station was where the Excalibur Gondola terminal sits today, a stone's throw from the bottom station of the Fitzsimmons Express. "Express" meaning high speed or perhaps "Version 2.0".
This lift used to have a mid station, an early unload option for people who parked in Lot 6. The cache is located at the top station, where skiers could get off and ski over to the Cruiser Chair, another relic from the past...
Getting to the cache requires a very short hike uphill, or, if you're skiing down the hill, a minor detour. You'll be looking for the old terminal mast, after a tiny bushwack. Please DO NOT bring your dog here. A local tour company offering summertime horseback rides and winter sleighrides keep their horses in a paddock nearby.
Cache is in a small Lock N Lock. Please rehide as you found it. The hint will be helpful if you have a quick look at the top station of the Magic Chair, an operational chair nearby.
