Rock Slide Traditional Cache

The micro is hidden in a lonely stunted cedar surrounded by loose rocks ready to slide down the slope.

While walking along the M+M trail that followed the ridge we found a gap in cache placements. The cedar trees that seem to thrive on adversity attracted our attention so we placed a micro camo taped specimen jar geocache on one. These containers keep water out if closed tightly. This trail has many step ledges typical of many sections of the M+M trail so be careful. My 12 year old daughter advises that if you fall make sure it is forward or backwards and not to the sides.
