Ok, so I was thinking about planning a follow-up event to last year's "Spring is for the Birds" event--but then I realized the weekend I was going to do it coincided with WWFM XI--so a flash mob it will be!!!
We will assemble at 10:00 am sharp, break out kazoos and begin a serenade for the ages. Of course, we will begin with "Camptown Races"--followed by whatever songs strike our fancy. This will continue until 10:15 am at which time we will take a group photo, have a quick drawing for the FTF and then disperse.
Should you wish to cache the area, there are a several caches nearby--and perhaps a new one or two might pop up.
I will be bringing about 50 signature Hunt-n-Jeep kazoos so, if you don't have your own, I've got you covered (at least the first 50 of you).
It should also be noted that, because the picnic areas at Cesar Chavez Park are "first come, first served," I may or may not be able to stake out the exact spot marked by the coordinates. However, I will have a large geocaching flag flying there or very close by. Find the flag and you have found GZ.
Any requests or suggestions for songs to play are certainly welcome and should be included in your "Will Attend" log.
