Here are some interesting facts:
George H. W. Bush was the 41st President of the United States.

 

  1. George Herbert Walker Bush became the youngest pilot in the U.S. Navy, surviving some dangerous missions in the South Pacific. He flew 58 combat missions in World War II. He was shot down and rescued by a submarine.
  2. He was the first Vice President elected President since Van Buren.
  3. He liked to play horseshoes and had a horse shoe pit installed on the White House lawn.
  4. He prefers Mexican and Chinese food and won't eat broccoli. "I'm President of the United States, and I'm not going to eat any more broccoli!"
  5. The First Dog, Millie, had her own room, in Nancy Reagan's old beauty parlor.
