This cache is placed just off of the iconic Parque de las Palapas in the heart of the city of Cancun. Parque de las Palapas was the very first park or "square" and is still today used by "Cancuneneses" to take a leisurely stroll, enjoy a refreshing beverage, listen to one of many free concerts, or let the kids play on a Sunday afternoon. With the open air food court and artisans selling everything from embroidered dresses to jewelry to traditional sweets, make it a point to get off the hotel zone and enjoy and area of Cancun just like the locals do!
