Coming or going? Traditional Cache

Placed with permission from the Jackson Twp. Parks Dept., this is the fifth cache that I have hidden, which brings my current total of caches to six (I adopted one). As I slowly place more caches, I want to have a broad range of sizes, difficulties, and types. This particular cache, then, is my first attempt at having one with a higher difficulty level. Therefore, I would be lying if I said that I hope that this cache doesn't give you any trouble.

I chose this park because North Park is a place that my girlfriend and I visit frequently in order to make use of ther illuminated 1.1 mile walking/running track. In addition, this 70 acre park also has baseball and soccer fields, basketball and tennis courts, a fishing pond, a skateboarding area, volleyball nets, a covered picnic shelter and a playground area for children. Therefore, it's safe to say this park has something to offer nearly everyone.

Because this is a park, the potential for muggles is always high, so please be on the lookout (as always).

While this cache may (or may not?) take a while for some of you to find, I've at least placed it in an area that should offer you some protection from the elements while you search.

Park is currently open from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. Please don't cache outside of these hours.

While I have given this geocache a 3.5/2.0 rating, I would venture to guess that both of these ratings will increase some during the winter.

An important final note: Because this cache has a higher difficulty rating, it is important that you bring your own writing untensil along and physically sign the log. Failure to do so will result in the deletion of your log without notice. This is to ensure the sanctity of this cache and only those who have truly earned their smiley here may wear it. This will be checked frequently.
