Geocache Description:

Welcome to Coast To Coast Locomotive Host located near the east-west Canadian Pacific Rail line. The rail line was integral to the success of many of the small towns that dot the prairie landscape throughout Saskatchewan. The town of  was built in some of the best farming land in the country and was founded when the Bell Farm began operations in the late 1800s. The Bell Farm built many of the initial buildings in the town including an elevator, a flourmill, and a hotel. You will notice the streets in Indian Head do not run parallel with the rail line. This was implemented on purpose to make it quicker for the Bell Farm workers to get to the farmland located north-west of Indian Head. The Bell Barn (round barn) located on the #56 highway is near the original Bell Farm site.

This cache is located at a public monument near the railway tracks. Please do not venture onto the tracks as they as very busy and also are private property. If you are lucky enough you may just have a train roll on through carrying grain from coast to coast on the locomotive host.

As with all caches please be aware of muggles as the cache is at a fairly busy location near the main street of Indian Head. Please bring your own writing stick.

Congratulations olemaz on being FTF!
