Cemetery with a rich and interesting history. The Oliver Cemetery predates the Civil War and it is made up of three parts, one part for the whites, the second part for the blacks (former slaves) and the third part for the Hispanics (Mexican descendants). The cemetery which has only one name, Oliver Cemetery, is still divided (segregated) into these three parts by fences even up to this day. Hispanic part of the cemetery has always been open. Only recently has the cemetery for the "whites" been unlocked. Cache is placed in a spot away from the graves. Please use stealth and search only during daylight hours.Lots of interesting tombstones in here; some still hidden under bushes and some outside the fences. Hopefully, they will keep the lock off the gate but time will tell.
