A series of thirteen waypoints before the final cache (number fourteen). This is a long walk around the Redwood and Whakarewarewa Forest, and took us approximately two hours to walk whilst placing the various waypoints. Would recommend taking a water bottle, and having a reasonable level of fitness, as it can be steep at times. There are plenty of rest spots along the way, and it is well worth the view! All waypoints are accessible from the tracks, so we would recommend sticking to the paths for ease.Our gps is accurate to approximately three metres. Most waypoints are tags (as shown in the picture below), but there are a few that will require more searching. The final is a 5 litre Sistema container, but is well camouflaged.
