Though not old, the earliest burial I found was 1957, many of the stones are already sinking into the terra firma and appear much older than they are. Here are several military veterans and people who carried the names of many early Jefferson/Orange County pioneers, such as Granger, Peveto and Beard. It's very quiet and serene here, a nice place wander, read head stones and breathe in the scent of the woods.
