This is the second of a series of four Geocaches that will take you on a scenic trail at Smith Rock State Park. The trail will lead you past world class rock climbing routes, stunning landscapes, a plethora of wildlife, all the time following the Crooked River. While hiding these caches we witnessed brave souls walking on high wires hundreds of feet in the air, rock climbers, beavers, bald eagles, ducks, geese, snakes, and lizards. If you start at the parking lot, find all four caches and return to the parking lot you will have walked approximately 5 miles. Bring water and snacks.
From this cache you can observe the river flowing near you, a remarkable boulder that has been shaped by many years water pressure, and you can take a break on the nearby beach.
