You can lunch & munch on the site of Scotland's first cache ,and even swap some travelbugs.
First some background information, it’s a cache which was rated for terrain/ difficulty before the present rating system was devised , so don’t expect any correlation .
It’s a full day event in more ways than one , but you might be tempted to find it.
It’s a 65 mile drive each way from Eglinton Campsite, allow 2 hours drive each way . Also bear in mind there are no paths , its mainly off – piste , and it is a strenuous climb allow 5 Hours +.
Read the cache logs before you go and make sure you have sufficient water and appropriate footwear .

There is parking for 2 ,maybe 3 cars by the roadside adjacent to the start of the path , however without knowing numbers, we’ll set up the Gazebo at the main car park ~ 0.6 mile further east .
The original log book has been restored , and the intention is to replace this in a waterproof container together with the new one .
