A pretty church founded in 1847 in an equally pretty village with a stream running through the middle, on the edge of the "Little End" of Pendle. The church shares a lady vicar with the parish church in Whalley. The churchyard has an interesting tomb with steps down! Not much history available on the web. Anyone know any more?
Parking available right next to the cache. Try to be discreet and not attract attention from the residents. A footpath down to the right over a footbridge, or one straight forward over a ford and towards Pendle would offer a nice walk. The village pub is award winning.
“If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first at churchmicro@gmail.com so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list”
