Geocache Description:

All I can say, is Wow! One of the prettiest cemetery locations I've seen in my travels. Another old place with many interesting stones. There is an occasional modern burial. Take your time and enjoy this place.

That has got to be one of the biggest trees I've seen around here! Had to take a selfie with this one. There are an abundance of homemade cross markers in this little cemetery. And again you see the names of many pioneer families. Jean Treville Granger was born in 1805 in Lousiana and died in Orange County in 1881. He married Modeste LeBleu, neither of whom were buried here. They were both taken back to Lake Charles for burial. Tresimond Granger, son of Treville, was born in 1845 and is buried here. His wife Elva Chaiison/Chesson is buried at Walles Cemetery in the Terry Community. Mose Granger was the son of Tresimond and Elva and was born in 1868. He was buried here in 1928 and his wife, Millie Winfree, was buried in Winfree Cemetery. Look around at all the military veterans of the many wars.
