Close to the Edge, Down by a River (CTTE#1) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

alnic39: I'm assuming that if No.2 was archived, this one would be too...so I'm getting in first to avoid the embarrassment. Good luck to anyone who might like to place a cache here in 2022.

Geocache Description:

The cache container has changed yet again due to the original sistema container going missing three times now and 4 other different ones going too. You'll just have to search for it. I've increased the difficulty rating because of this. Last chance and this one goes premium.

When I first started caching, I found myself in some precarious places and often singing lines from a song by Yes, called Close to the Edge. I have often found myself in some beautiful and amazing places…still singing lines from the song. It is now my caching soundtrack.

Close to the Edge is a classic song from the progressive rock band Yes. It was released in 1972 on the album of the same name. This album is considered to be the ultimate example of progressive rock. Enough said…go find the caches, and if you somehow end up listening to the song, then great.

All the caches in this series are close to the path, despite what the GPS is telling you. CTTE#8 is actually up the hill from the path, so sorry about that. They are meant to be easy to find a family friendly. However, just an extra note that as each of these caches is taken (muggled) or not put back properly, I will make it PREMIUM only.
