About East Lavenham Walk
The East Lavenham walk is approximately 6.5 miles long and takes in the countryside around the historic village of Lavenham and Village of Preston St Mary. There is ample free parking as per waypoint close to the church(But this will be busy during peak Summer periods due to tourism). The walk starts at the Church and soon finds it way into the countryside and also takes in the village of Preston St Mary and the lovely countryside surrounding it. Hope you enjoy this walk which was originally placed by Barbycats in 2011 from which we adopted them all in September 2020 and added a few extras to the route. Hope you enjoy the fantastic views and enjoy the countryside.This cache was originally called "Wating For Bertie" and was incorporated into the walk when we adopted the route in September 2020.
